Vehicle Design
Above everything else, the goal of Motoring Mobility is to provide vehicles that would suit the needs and convenience of our clients with wheelchair-bound family members. For that reason, we aim to build vehicle conversions that are aimed to provide wheelchair-bound clients access to mobility.
With our vehicle designs, wheelchair-bound clients would be able to drive. They can now sit on the front passenger seat, the second row, or the third row of the vehicle with relative ease.
Variations of Vehicle Designs by Motoring Mobility
At Motoring Mobility, we have a variety of vehicle designs that our clients can choose from. Depending on your need, we would be able to modify your vehicle or provide one that would work best for your requests. Below are the vehicle designs that we have at Motoring Mobility:
This design works best for people who do not need to travel with their family. It can either have two passengers in front with one wheelchair access at the back, or four passengers with an option at the back for a double fold down seat.
This kind of vehicle design is ideal if you want to travel with your family. With its better space management design, you can be closer with the driver and the other passengers in the vehicle without sacrificing your comfort. The seating could be for four passengers with one wheelchair access, or six passengers with optional double fold down seat.
In this particular vehicle design, the wheelchair-bound passenger would be sitting behind the second row seats. The seating arrangement could be four passengers with one wheelchair access, six passengers with optional double fold down seat, five passengers with one wheelchair access, or seven passengers with an option at the back for a double fold down seat.
The two wheelchair access design works best for people who need one or two wheelchair spaces for convenience of transport. This kind of vehicle design would only be possible for vehicles with larger space, like van type vehicles.
In this vehicle design, the wheelchair occupant would be sitting at the front passenger space next to the driver of the vehicle. The seating arrangement for this type of vehicle could be two passengers with one wheelchair access, or four passengers with an option at the back for double fold down seat.
This kind of vehicle design is needed if you want the wheelchair-bound occupant to have the chance to drive the vehicle, while still giving way for other people to drive the car if they need to as well. In this kind of conversion, particular items must be added. These include rear door and wheelchair ramp auto entry systems, automatic wheelchair docking systems, power driver transfer seat, and hand-assisted driving control system.
This type of vehicle is ideal if the wheelchair-bound occupant would want to have the freedom of being able to drive his/her own vehicle, but is having a hard time with transferring to a driver seat. In this type of conversion, the rear door and wheelchair ramp auto entry systems, automatic wheelchair docking systems, and hand-assisted driving control systems must be installed.
